BLEPHAROPLASTY AND OTOPLASTY

Blepharoplasty is also known as an eyelid lift, a procedure performed to remove or add skin or to remove fat from the eyelids.

When it comes to blepharoplasty, an upper blepharoplasty or a lower blepharoplasty can be performed. The upper blepharoplasty procedure utilizes incisions through which the skin and the fat are removed. After this, a small stitch is used to bring the skin together so that an eyelid crease is created.

When it comes to the lower blepharoplasty, this approach is suitable in case fat is to be removed or added to the eyelid without visible incisions. During this approach, the incisions are created directly below the lash line. In combination with laser resurfacing, this technique can reduce wrinkles and lines near the eye.
